I've finally figured out when to get my personal, alone time. I had to give up watching TV at night and do my things when the kids go up to bed.Shari Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15018062679321357917noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-71816031218241128882008-04-01T16:19:00.000-07:002008-04-01T16:19:00.000-07:00What a great post! My Ditz doesn't know any of her math facts but she does understand the basic concepts so has very innovative ways of doing her sums.

While the kids may be in our *school* I have long suspected we're in God's, learning all sorts of lessons He is patiently trying to get through our thick heads, tweaking & trimming to our *learning style* as He goes. I don't think I'm a very good student.Ganeidahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17476109171650258810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-72828775188389872432008-04-01T12:37:00.000-07:002008-04-01T12:37:00.000-07:00Sounds waaay too familiar. They are great for the tactile learner and help them review basic math facts without seeming like math.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-44307649261785985002008-04-01T07:47:00.000-07:002008-04-01T07:47:00.000-07:00That was a truly incredible post!! I too have come to realize that when we are having bad days, it is usually my fault in some wy or another. I think the kids just feed off of us most of the time.
In response to your comment on my blog, I think all my plans atleast gives me a skeleton to work within. We definitely don't follow them line for line, but they are still there and it gives me a good reference point.
I look forward to reading more of yor blogs.Brumbemomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00868721068252745942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-3206902040521233372008-04-01T05:14:00.000-07:002008-04-01T05:14:00.000-07:00[Plan ahead for basics like, you know, those meals...[Plan ahead for basics like, you know, those meals] I used to manage a $ 4.5 million and after being on my own for over 20 years, I have still not figured out how to manage the pantry or plan a menu. I would rather plan, cook and serve a 7-course meal then decide day to day what to make for supper.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12875561671945374840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-23220504223837953382008-04-01T05:04:00.000-07:002008-04-01T05:04:00.000-07:00Fantastic post!!SmallWorldFantastic post!!
SmallWorldSarah at SmallWorldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15306137253094526922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15731253.post-86283922939548135122008-04-01T04:55:00.000-07:002008-04-01T04:55:00.000-07:00This was a great reminder to us all that bad days ...This was a great reminder to us all that bad days will come.
